Turned from bad to worse
She started wearing suits
And bought a Prada purse
She’d wake up at night
And think about the VELS
That lingered around
Like 7 nasty smells
She’d hear her colleague’s voices
Ringing in her ear
Salt on her skin
A crystallized tear

Sit on your bottom
Act responsibly
Look straight ahead

Stop picking your nose
Act conscientiously
This is the world of pedagogy

She was moulding and shaping
Scaffolding brains
Feeling the learning
Run through her veins
Personalising lessons
And calculating data

Kids giving lip

So miss got assertive

So yelling at the young
didn’t Sit well in her gut

But it wasn’t all games

So she would sit in the staffroom
For a distraction
From the deputy sheriff
She’d avoid the rage
Head in her paper
Slowly turning the page

Her stroppy behaviour
Left Miss torn
She had a day off
To attend a friends wake
Sheriff got snippy
Gave miss a tummy ache
It then turned into

Miss would speak

Was a piece of work
Stone cold Sherrif
No one want to be her

Now one day this miss
She’s had quite enough
took a super soaker
shot the place up
Egg on the Sherrif
Mud in their mouths
From the oval
You could hear the growls
Miss opened the door
To where the kids play
jumped on the swings
to the sherrif’s dismay
tagged wee Coop
And screamed……Your it’!!!!!
As she did a head spin
In the grimy sand pit
slid down the slide
the kids followed suit
wondering why she’d ever taught
Coz this was a hoot!
Finally hugging the kids
And the teachers that laughed
Miss hooned down the fwy
Away from her craft

and not your dam head
